Data Deletion Instructions.

Your right to deletion

You have the right to request deletion of any personal data Exigen Media has collected about you or your business. This includes account data, business information, Meta Ads connection data, and lead data we've received on your behalf.

How to request deletion

There are two ways to delete your data:

Option 1 — Self-service (immediate)

If you have an active Exigen Portal account:

  1. Sign in at exigenmedia.com/login
  2. Go to Meta Connect → click Disconnect to revoke ad account access immediately
  3. Email hello@exigenmedia.com from the email tied to your account with the subject "Delete My Account"
  4. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days and confirm by email

Option 2 — Email request

If you don't have an active account but want us to delete any data we hold (e.g., from a past inquiry form submission):

  1. Email hello@exigenmedia.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request"
  2. Include the email address, business name, or phone number we may have on file
  3. We will respond within 5 business days and delete all data within 30 days

What gets deleted

  • Your account credentials (email, hashed password)
  • Your business profile data (name, industry, financials)
  • Your Meta Ads connection tokens (we already revoke these on disconnect)
  • Historical ad performance snapshots tied to your account
  • Lead data we've received through your connected Meta Lead Ads
  • Any inquiry data from contact or qualification forms

What we may retain

For legal and tax compliance, we may retain the following for the period required by law (typically 7 years):

  • Invoices and payment records (if you were a paying client)
  • Signed agreements (MSA, statements of work)
  • Communications related to a legal dispute or audit

All other personal data will be permanently deleted.

Meta Platform Data

If you previously connected your Meta Ads account to Exigen Portal, the access token we stored is revoked the moment you click "Disconnect" inside the portal or request deletion via email. After revocation, we can no longer query Meta's APIs on your behalf. You can also revoke our access directly at any time from your Meta Business Settings.
