1. Who we are

Exigen Media ("we", "us", "our") is a marketing agency that provides Meta Ads management and reporting services to home-service operators. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or use our client portal.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account information: name, email, business name, and password (encrypted) when you create a portal account.
  • Business information: industry, service area, financial inputs (average ticket value, gross margin, ad budget) you provide via the onboarding form.
  • Meta Ads data: with your explicit OAuth authorization, we access read-only ad performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, leads, revenue, ROAS) and lead form submissions from your connected Meta Business account.
  • Inquiry data: contact details and qualification answers submitted via our book-a-call form.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed (via Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, no cookies).

3. How we use your data

  • To deliver the services you've hired us for (campaign reporting, lead management).
  • To send you operational notifications (new leads, daily reports, account changes).
  • To improve our services and develop new features.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Meta Platform Data

We use the Meta Marketing API and Meta Lead Ads API. We only request the minimum permissions required (ads_read, leads_retrieval, business_management) and we never modify, pause, or delete your campaigns. You may revoke our access at any time via your Meta Business Settings or by clicking "Disconnect" in our portal. Meta Platform Data we receive is used solely to provide reporting to you and is not sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, who are contractually bound to protect it:

  • Supabase (database & authentication)
  • Vercel (hosting & analytics)
  • Stripe (payment processing, if applicable)
  • Resend (transactional email)
  • Meta (your authorized ad account)

6. Data security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: TLS encryption in transit, encrypted-at-rest databases with row-level security, OAuth-based authorization for third-party platforms, and access logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimize risk continuously.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@exigenmedia.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

We retain client data for the duration of the engagement plus 12 months for tax and legal purposes. Inquiry data from the book-a-call form is retained for 24 months unless you become a client. You can request deletion at any time.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients.
